We went to...

...a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, and very original BBQ place in Norfolk called Doumar's. I've just really fallen in love with BBQ lately...and was so excited when I found out where we were going to eat! Click here to read about the place. The quick run down is it's a drive-in BBQ place that brings a fun little tray with your food & it attaches to the door of your car! We decided to try their original BBQ sandwich--which has coleslaw on it! I didn't know what to expect since I really don't care for coleslaw--but I r-e-a-l-l-y wanted to try their original sandwich...and it was very, very yummy! We finished off our meal with a chocolate shake (me) and a butter-pecan ice-cream hand-rolled sugar cone (SB) ...both were wonderful! THEN...Steve asked me if I wanted to go shopping....but I knew he had something else planned;) I asked him if we were going to a show and he asked me if I remembered what was showing at the Norfolk Scope...I surely didn't! Well, I have a-l-w-a-y-s wanted to go to the circus--and have never been...so my sweet SB remembered that wish and granted it last evening;) Although my time there was overshadowed a bit by the PETA flier that I was handed right before entering the arena, I still managed to enjoy the show;) (I'm sure my family is laughing hard at me right now!) So...what a fun night. Thanks SB for the wonderful time away and an unforgettable evening!
I appreciate you & love you!

  5. SARAH..I need your help! How do you change the font/color/ and layout of your posts? I would like mine to be centered sometimes and I would love to be able to fool around with the fonts and stuff...I've tried and I cannot figure it out...so, how do you do it?

  6. hey Rach--I am not very good at explaining things...but I will try;) When you are on the "writing your text/downloading pictures" page, you should see a series of buttons across the top...three will look like 'mini' paragraphs: one aligned to the left, one to the right, and one centered. There is also a button for the font colors and a drop down box for your font size. Just drag your mouse over the text that you want to color, center, or enlarge....and done;) Let me know if this works;)

  12. hey do you know anything about buttermilk paint? I bought this cabinet with that kind of old school paint on it and I'm afraid to clean it off with water - apparently kerry had a bad experience! I just thought you or your sister might know some tricks! Let me know...
