WE ARE CELEBRATING!

All good things must come to an end...

and the end of our second year of seminary is here! We're halfway done, praise the Lord! I think I already hear the hearty amens of other seminary wives from around Hampton Roads;) Thanks for all of you who kept my seminarian in your thoughts & prayers! This picture was actually from Steve's birthday--but his face is very descriptive of how we are feeling right now;) We went to Ghent yesterday morning to celebrate; needless to say, it is wonderful to spend real TIME with my husband again;) I truly am thankful that God sustained us through this semester...to Him be the glory, great things He has done! And by the way, I'm very proud of you SB;)

  1. That is EXCELLENT news, Sarah! I understand very well how you feel. Pastor O has two more class this summer (the hardest ones yet) and he will finally be done with his Master's! Two hard classes, two busy boys, and two newborns...this should make for an interesting summer. Thank goodness he only has one me to put up with! We'll keep praying for y'all!

  5. Congrats to both of you! I barely remember those tough times, since we have had a year off from it. I think it will be hard to get back into it again in the fall!

    Glad you're finished for now:O)

  7. yeahhhh!!! a few weeks off from those dreaded words..."I have reading to do..." isn't it a blessing to see our husbands be able to relax and enjoy themselves? I love that for them, they work so hard. praise the Lord, we are halfway done too!

  8. I agree with akhughes!! It is so much fun to watch our husbands actually sit back and relax a little. I think Titus is finally remembering what Mark looks like now and absolutely loves spending time with his daddy. summer school is quickly approaching, but I am trying to savor every moment of time God gives Mark and I during this break. By the way, I love The shirt Steven is wearing in his birthday pic!!!
