Yes. . .we sure did.

Yes, we did really wait in line for (I-can't-exactly-remember-for-how-long-so-I-will-just-say) a long time for our $1.50 slices of Cheesecake Factory cheesecake! Yesterday was their 30th anniversary, and in honor of that, they offered their normally $6.50 slices of cheesecake for a mere $1.50 for dine-in customers. And it was worth the wait.

Steve chose Key Lime and I chose Fresh Banana Cream.

Yummy-in-my-tummy.

And, I just wanted to say that I am thoroughly enjoying being able to spend so much time with my husband right now. Usually, I claim Autumn as my favorite season. . .but since we moved here and began seminary in 2005, summer seems to have claimed the prize! It's hard to believe that tomorrow is the first day of August. . .where has the summer gone????????

  1. Yes, I can agree that that would be worth the wait! I think we would have gotten extra and then asked for a take home box :)

  2. Hey friend!! I wish that I had taken that opportunity, but alas, I did not! Sounds like you enjoyed your cheesecake, though. :)I share your sentiments about the summer slipping away! It's gone by so fast! I feel like I have to enjoy every moment with Dave that I can until Seminary claims him back. :)

  3. sara--I think we would've gladly gotten a few extra pieces. . .except they only allowed 1 per person at the $1.50 price. . .we ended up eating so late that we actually did take most of it home and enjoyed it today!

  5. How come I didn't hear the great news of this deal? It is my FAVORITE restaurant and mainly because you go with the intention of buying dessert, which normally we pass on. Glad you were able to enjoy this treat!

  6. I totally agree with you about where oh where has the summer gone?!?! So sad! And I also agree with you about how wonderful the cheesecake is! Our small group went, and also waited for what seemed like forever, but again, totally worth it! I had Shiloh and Eli with me and tried to order 3 pieces, but the lady looked at Eli and said, sorry, just 2. :) OH, well. Worth a try! I had tiramisu and Shiloh "ordered" the chocolate tuxedo creamy one, which we took home for Daddy. YUM! :)
