Getting back to normal. . . . . . .

As you can see--Steve sitting up, the LARGE pile of books, Cali wanting to play ball while Steve is studying--things are beginning to get back to 'normal'. We had a frustrating evening last night. . .we were trying to sleep and Steve couldn't because his heart was having strange palpitations--different from his normal heart racings. He was able to speak with a dr. that assured him it was normal to have such happenings after the WPW procedure.

???????????

I was a tad confused by it---but I am glad that it put Steve's mind at ease and he was able to sleep well last night. We are expecting a call from Dr. Woollett today as well--and I am sure that will be very helpful.

So we are again very thankful that God chose not to let the surgeon put a pace-maker into Steve's heart! And although I do not understand all that is happening in my husband's heart, I do feel that God is still in control and I am at peace with that. And I know Steve is too. So we will keep asking questions to our dr.s; we will keep learning as much as we can about WPW and it's effects. We will keep trusting in God for the next step. And we will continue to be thankful for what He has already done--and also thankful for all of our wonderful friends who have covered us in prayers, meals, visits, and love:)

Hope your week is happy!
Love,
the Branines

  11. WOW. I have been away from you for some time, my blogging friend! I didn't even know about Steve until this morning. :( But I will still pray. You know, this really intrigues me because I have always had this random heart racing happen since about 5th grade. I am going to look into this condition. Scary, isn't it! Our lives are so fragile. I am so glad Steve made it through safely. Your heart must have broken many a times. Will pray all works out on this side of surgery "for His good pleasure."
