[tidbits. . . . . .]

So, Steve's parents and my parents were able to come for Steve's graduation on May 3rd--it was wonderful! We all met up on Friday for lunch at Panera. . .I was holding the tables for everyone and my dad came up and said, "Well, I went to use the restroom and came out and there was a woman standing at the sink! I accidentally used the women's restroom, but the lady was nice and said she wouldn't tell anyone!" We had a great laugh over that one!!!

Last week I was teaching a piano lesson and asked the little girl what the time signature was on her current piece. She replied with, "Oh, you mean the 4 by 4?" Um. . .yes, something like that:)

Yesterday, Steve was told that he got the job in Oregon! I don't know exactly how to put into words the many, many thoughts that are going through my mind at the moment! We just thought that we would see God sell our house before the job transfer came through. . .but our ways are not His. . .and this is just yet another area that God has called Steve and I to trust him in. We didn't make the decision to accept this job lightly. We know that we need our house to sell. We know that we cannot afford a payment here and there. . .especially with going down to 1 income and having a baby! However, we felt that God made our decision very clear to us. I was so nervous and excited when Steve left for work yesterday. I was actually trying to catch a quick nappy before he called me to tell me the news. Poor baby must have really been feeling the adrenaline rush though, because he moved and kicked away in there until I finally got up and started moving around. . .he was just excited too:) So. . .all of this to say. . .we will be leaving for Oregon the week of July 12th! Our God is great!

  7. As I read the tidbit about your move, all I could do was imagine what life would be like without the hope we have in Jesus. He's got everything figured out! Isn't that comforting to know?
