Happy Fall. . .our best one yet!

My very talented husband made my mom and me some extremely yummy ginger cookies the other evening. {The recipe for the ginger cookies came from Sue. . .and let me tell you, if you don't have her recipe, you must ask her for it!} I also had just purchased a Autumn Wreath yankee candle and it made for one very "autumnish" evening. . .especially with the cool Oregon air outside. Welcome back to my favorite season, Fall. . .and this Fall, we are celebrating even more because of our sweet Graeme arriving. It's hard to believe Graeme Clarke will be two weeks old this coming Friday! And as you can see, Cal-baby is quite in love with our new family addition:)

Happy Fall to you, friends, wherever this finds you........................

  2. Thanks for the fall wishes - it's supposed to be a rainy day here today - so that helps it feel fallish.

  4. I saw on the weather this morning that Portland was supposed to welcome fall with 90 degree weather today...however, it sounds like your cookies, candle, and little cuddle bug are keeping the romance of the season quite alive despite those high temps! (which I was glad to see will be much more "fall like" after today!)

  8. I am SO glad it was not YOU who made the cookies...I had a terrible thought there for a moment when I saw the picture, thinking you whipped up a batch of cookies and lit a candle all while holding Graeme... :)

  9. How in love you must be with that little peanut! Love that smile. SOOOOOOOOOO cute. I hope you are adjusting well and getting lots of rest. Being a parent is "the hardest job I've ever loved."
