Life is beautiful. . .

We are so happy to announce that our sweet baby, Graeme Clarke, is here! Born yesterday, on my very loved, late Nanny's birthday, 09/11 at 12:42p.m. Welcoming the world with his sweet self, weighing in at 5 lbs., 12 oz., 19 1/4" long. We sobbed when we first laid eyes on our Graeme. . .we are so in love and thank God for this indescribable gift!

  7. Yeah! I'm so glad to hear he's here. (That's a funny sentence! =) ) I have been checking facebook like a maniac to see if you'd had him yet.
We had our first CBTW's meeting today. I was just thinking about you and reflecting on our conversation a year ago. What a year of new adventures it been for you! (And me too!) It was fun reflecting on what the Lord has done this past year.

  8. There is nothing like that first glimpse of your baby. I always think about Elyse as being one of those great gifts from God that will always remind me of his great love. There's no way to describe that joy, is there? Well, again, he's too cute, and I know he'll be loved :)

  11. Mom and I were so happy to hear the good news. Have to say that we were a little worried, but praying. I didn't want you to have to go so long, but I am really glad that he decided to come on Nanny's birthday. What a special memory that will be each year. Your Aunt Barbara was tickled pink. Looking forward to seeing him.
    I love you,
    Dad

  21. Sarah...you did great!!! You look so content, like you were made to be a mommy. Isn't it incredible how quickly we can take on that role and love and cherish our newborn babies?

This is such a great picture. What a sweet family you are. I've been away in Seattle since 9/11 and just got home last night. I was so excited to read your news when I checked your blog today!!!
