celebration time at Cranny ( majorly )

This was an especially exciting week for me over at Cranny. I was beside myself with happiness when I noticed that four door sweaters had been sold in one evening. I knew that Cranny probably had been featured and was ecstatic to check and see if my little shop had been hi-lighted somewhere. I ran over to craftcult.com and checked on the heart-o-matic feature ( my sister Barb let me in on this wonderful feature--she's so great! ) and sure enough, I discovered, to my sheer delight, that Cranny had been featured on Etsy's blog, The Storque. You can find the article here. Thank you to the lovely Christine and Yokoo.

( I should have probably mentioned at the beginning of this post that to all of my friends who are not involved with Etsy, this post will most likely make no sense to you and be very boring, and for that I am so sorry! )

Here are some of my very favorite treasuries that Cranny had a part of over the last week. I am truly honored to have my Cranny items chosen along with so many beautiful creations. . .

As if being hearted by Etsy's blog and featured in beautiful treasuries wasn't enough to make my week, I also was met with this sight on Etsy's front page this past week. . .

I was so happy to have my creamed cotton door sweater featured on the front page that I immediately sent my sister a note. Barb, along with Steve, has been my biggest Cranny cheer leader. Barb featured my door sweaters on her blog here a few days ago. Thanks, Barbie! I heart you so much!

I am almost ready to load a few new things into the shop. Pictured below are the new Thanksgiving tea towels that are currently in "market research". Laughing at myself, market research=throwing them in the laundry to make sure that the ruffles stay in tact during the laundering process;-) Now, if you are like me, pretty towels are pretty much more for form than for function, but function is always helpful too, right? ;-) I do hope you like them--and Christmas tea towels are in the works as well.

Well, my little Cranny heart is popping full! God has been so, so very, very kind to encourage my heart with this little venture. I do hope that you all have had an amazing week--Etsy shop or no! Thank you for listening to me ramble on and on about Cranny today............

  9. thank you so much, friends, for rejoicing with me! It certainly has been so neat to have this little business--a fun creative outlet and also an incredible way God has given us to begin our adoption fund--which is growing!

Kelly-I need help understanding your last sentence. Maybe my brain is just too tired--I'm getting ready for our vacation today--so you know what that means--lots to do! ;-) And thanks tons for advertising for me!!!

Anneke & Laura--thank you so much! And Laura--I have no idea what is the matter with the comment thingy--that does seem strange;-(

Josh--we missed being there. I truly thought G-bear was on the mend, but he had a pretty rough evening last night. I didn't think we should share our germs in the nursery, since I'm pretty sure that's where we picked up this little "friend" ;-) No worries though--Graeme got plenty of practice wiping his nose on my couch yesterday. yikes!

Katie & Amy--thanks girlies! And Katie, I am enjoying Fall to the max--today is absolutely gorgeous!
