I love a good surprise

I love pulling off a surprise for someone else, specifically for my husband, because he is very difficult to surprise.  I would imagine that is the case for most, unless you have separate bank accounts.

I managed to surprise Steve with a kindle for Christmas this year.  He loved it and I was elated ( as you can tell by my giggling on the video ) to be able to give it to him.  I wanted to make a case for the kindle.  Bad idea.  For your information and future kindle-case-making, sewing faux leather and fleece together is very difficult for a sewing machine and very hard on your personal sanity.  If you are considering making your own, write me and I will give you the full disclosure on my experience and a few tips;-)  My biggest tip would be this: purchase a case from amazon! wink wink.
