I could not get over how much Job and Graeme resemble each other............they are brothers, after all, so I guess I should not be so surprised!
Job is pictured on the left and Graeme's newborn photograph is on the right.
Do you see the resemblance?
We were so excited to see our Job today! Job is doing quite well, measuring in at 29 weeks and 2 days, and weighing in at about 2 pounds, 14 ounces. He was quite active, but we managed to see several views of his little profile. We thank the Lord that I do not have placenta previa ( the reason for this extra ultrasound ) and that Job seems to be a healthy little boy. November 6th cannot come soon enough!
( We also had a few appointments today for my husband's heart condition, Wolff Parkinson White syndrome. Although he has had three surgeries in the past to correct the WPW, they were unsuccessful and unfortunately his symptoms have been flaring up badly over the last several months. God has blessed us with an incredibly kind heart specialist and today he talked with us about trying a different medicine before we proceed with another surgery. I will update you over the next few weeks with some specifics to pray for concerning my husband, but for now, we would ask that you pray for clear direction and wisdom, and most of all, that the new medicine would be effective immediately--this would be a huge encouragement for us. I know it seems crazy that we might attempt a fourth surgery, but we've been given some helpful and encouraging news concerning a possible surgery and I will share that information over the next couple of weeks. God has given us the perfect amount of grace and encouragement during this time, but please continue to pray as this condition greatly tires Steve. And, selfishly, I ask you to pray for me as well--there is nothing more terrible than knowing that the person you love more than anyone in the world is suffering and that you cannot make it stop. )
happy wednesday to you...........
