Gift Guides + A Mint and Gold Giveaway!)

Several weeks ago, Better Homes and Gardens asked me to compile a gift guide for husbands. Today, I wanted to share a few of my favorites from the gift guide. (I seriously think I might purchase the Beard book just because it makes me laugh every time I see it, not to mention it would score a boatload of brownie points with my husband!)  Also, I'm sharing a little wish list for ladies. But the best part? My long-time friend, Heidi, of Lily Noelle, is giving away that beautiful mint and gold necklace! Happy entering and merry Monday!

Heidi and I met during our college years and have known each other for over a decade. Saying that makes me feel rather old but it also reminds me of how much I appreciate my friend Heidi! I love that Heidi gives a portion of her proceeds to at-risk women in the Dominican Republic, that she herself has travelled there twice to work with the women, teaching them the art of jewelry making, giving them hope and a literal future. Heidi's generosity and impeccable work have left a lasting impression on me. I feel very honored to host this giveaway today for her beautiful Mint + Gold necklace. (I love that Heidi handpicked the Italian resin wood piece of the necklace during a recent trip to Venice!)

Read more about Heidi and her company Lily Noelle, her popular Earring of the Month Club, these affordable stocking stuffers for the little gals in your life, and this bracelet (that I own and love!) that goes with everything. Enter CRANNY at checkout to receive 25% off your Lily Noelle purchase! (Coupon code not valid for the Little Fashionistas collection.) Enter below for several opportunities to win the Mint + Gold necklace! A very merry Monday to you!

    1. Amy, I hear you! We just bought an iPad with a gift card that we had been given. (A very, very generous gift card!) We waited for a looo-ong time before making the purchase, but I'm so glad we went through with it. And waited for the new one, no less! Love that you bought your brother matching pajamas : ) Merry Christmas!

    1. Susanna,
Isn't she! Love that girl. Such a small world that you know her, too! Where did you move to? And, yes!, was so excited to put together the gift guide for husbands-- what a fun project!

    2. So small! ;) We moved to Baltimore, MD for my husband's medical training. North Hills {the church Heidi and her husband are at in SC} is such a special spot to us, and we miss it, but it's so awesome to connect with other church bodies around the country. We're blessed.

Oops - didn't see what I was supposed to comment about! I dream about getting a pair of boots, but since my hubby doesn't like me to give him ideas, he'll never know, so it won't happen. :) He likes to just pick stuff out for me on his own, which is okay to an extent, but every now and then, there are some things I'd really, really like. :)

  18. What a cool opportunity - beautiful lists! I love those aviators for A, but girl, they are waaaaayyy out of my gift budget. :) I am looking forward to giving him the gift I did get for him, although I don't want to say what in CASE he popped on here. :) I will say I just used some birthday coins to get the stendig, I'm thinking it's going to go pretty great on burnt orange wall next to my (coming soon) chalkboard wall in the dining room. :) LOVE this necklace from Heidi, hope I haven't used up all my winning chances!
